No. Most patients report very little discomfort. They describe it feeling like a mosquito bite or like squeezing a pimple.
Is the procedure for Dermal Fillers painful?
The discomfort is minimal. It also depends upon the area being treated. The good news is dermal fillers are prepared with lidocaine (a numbing agent) . A topical numbing agent and/or ice, can be applied to the treatment area 10 minutes prior to your procedure to help reduce discomfort.
Who should NOT use Botox?
Women who are pregnant, women who are breast-feeding, and people who are taking certain antibiotics, have neuromuscular disorders, individuals with medical conditions that lower the body's immune response, or individuals undergoing therapy that is immunosuppressive, or have an allergy to BOTOX® - should not have injections.
What is the Difference between Botox and Dermal fillers?

Can Botox and Dermal Fillers be used in combination at the same Treatment?
Botox and Dermal Fillers are very often used in combination with each other and at the same treatment. Depending on the desired outcome this combination can actually achieve the best results.
I want to have an Aesthetic Treatment, but I don't want anyone to know.
Is my Secret safe with you? Are my Procedures Confidential?
Yes. Your treatment regimen is absolutely confidential. We have lots of clients that love their results but don’t want to share it with anyone, for example co-workers, or even their spouse. We are completely committed to ensuring your privacy. We comply with HIPPA to ensure that your medical records and treatment history are confidential. We also ensure our staff do not disclose or discuss you, or your treatments with anyone else, either inside or outside of our office. Injector 5280 takes privacy very seriously.
Will I look unnatural after my Treatment?
At Injector 5280 we strive for a natural looking result by making subtle improvements. Friends and family members may comment that you look more refreshed or relaxed, but treatments will not radically alter your appearance. You will look just like yourself, but better.
If I just had a Chemical Peel or Laser treatment, do I need to wait before I have an Aesthetic Injectable treatment?
If you recently had a laser treatment or chemical peel, it is recommended to wait at least one week before an aesthetic injectable treatment; or until the area is fully healed and the skin is completely back to normal.
A VI Peel or Glycolic Glow peel AFTER an injectable treatment however, is a perfect addition to improve your skin's overall texture, clarity and glow.
I am still unsure if this is the right Procedure for me.
We invite you to come in and visit one of our Aesthetic Injector Specialists. Consultations are complimentary and confidential. Our staff are very caring and will answer all your questions, show you before and after photographs and explain each procedure to you. You can decide together if aesthetic treatments are right for you, and which aesthetic treatment would be the best.
When I come in for a Complimentary Consultation, is it possible to go forward with my Treatment at the same Appointment?
We allow enough time for you to have a thorough and professional Consultation. In most cases we will also have enough time to go forward with your desired treatment plan during that appointment.
